Even what seems like non-serious matters may have a lasting impact on the life of the person accused. One of the most important considerations in selecting the right lawyer is experience. The attorneys at Shaw & Morrow have that experience.
Tom Morrow has been involved in the criminal justice system for over thirty years. As a former assistant state's attorney for Baltimore County, Tom prosecuted hundreds of crimes in the district and circuit courts of Maryland. After several years as a local prosecutor, he was selected by the Maryland Attorney General to join the Criminal Investigation Division of the Attorney General's Office. As an assistant attorney general, Tom focused on prosecuting white collar crimes, including political corruption. In 1979, Tom was selected by Janet Reno, later to become Attorney General of the U.S., to serve in her office as an assistant state attorney in Miami, Florida. Having prosecuted a wide variety of criminal offenses in two states, Tom was well prepared to become one of Baltimore's premier criminal defense lawyers.
Since entering private practice, criminal trial attorney Tom Morrow has represented hundreds of persons accused of a variety of criminal offenses, including traffic and juvenile offenses, shoplifting, theft, assault and domestic violence, white collar crimes, bribery, Medicaid fraud, gambling offenses, DUI and DWI, sex offenses, child abuse, robbery, drug possession and distribution, conspiracy, child abuse, and murder. Tom handles criminal trails in federal court and all Maryland counties and Baltimore City. He has also appeared on behalf of criminal defendants in Florida and several other states.
